Here Are The New Mawaqif And Darb Toll Timings For Ramadan

With Ramadan officially beginning today, Thursday, March 23, things around the capital are changing. On Wednesday, March 22, the Integrated Transport Centre – Abu Dhabi announced the new Mawaqif and Darb Toll Gate timings for the duration of the Holy Month.

The ITC announced that the Mawaqif timings remain the same during the month of Ramadan

All motorists must pay for parking either via the Darb Application, a text to 3009, or the machine during the hours for 8am – 12am from Monday – Saturday. Additionally, parking on Sundays remains free.

In comparison to Mawaqif, the ITC changed the peak hours of the Darb Toll Gates

The initial peak hours prior to ramadan were as follows:

  • Morning Peak Hours: 7am – 9am
  • Evening Peak Hours: 5pm – 7pm

During Ramadan, the updated peak hours are:

  • Morning Peak Hours: 8am – 10am
  • Evening Peak Hours: 2pm – 4pm

The new toll timings take place during the Holy Month starting today, March 23. They follow the usual Darb Toll dates, Monday – Saturday and Sundays are toll free.
