The UAE Participated In A Meeting Of The Arab League To Discuss The Storming Of Al Aqsa Mosque

The United Arab Emirates participated in a meeting of the Arab League to take a unified Arab stance against the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Cairo to discuss the storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque

On April 6, permanent delegates of the Arab League and their representatives attended this meeting. So, the delegates in attendance were:

  • Chairman Mohamed Moustafa Orfy, Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, held the meeting. As Egypt is the current president of the Arab League at the ministerial level.
  • Additionally, Mariam Al Kaabi, Emirati Delegate, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the UAE to the Arab League attended the meeting.
  • Hossam Zaki, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League
  • As well as other permanent delegates of the Arab League and their representatives.

The UAE also condemns Israeli Police’s storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque

On Wednesday, April 5, Israeli Police Forces stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for the second time. The raid took place hours after they first raided the compound and arrested hundreds of Palestinians.

So, on April 6, the UAE participated in a meeting of the Arab League to take a unified Arab stance against Israeli police forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on worshippers.
