Rashid Rover’s mission to the moon faces slight delays
Rashid rover, set to take the country to new bounds in the space sector, has been given a new launch date.
The mission was initially given a launch time frame of the 9th to the 15th of this month, but was then put off to the 22nd-28th

Tentative dates
The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre took to Twitter to announce the postponement: “The new launch date of the first Emirati mission to the surface of the Moon is set on 30 November at 12:39 pm (UAE time) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, United States. This date is subject to change depending on the weather status or other conditions.”
Note that Rocket launches require ideal conditions and postponing is a common event.

Rashid Rover to the moon
The 10kg rover is jet setting to the Moon on the Hakuto-R lander to spend a day on the surface of the moon to study it’s dust and other geological aspects, and will be captured by high resolution cameras.
Rashid Rover will launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida on Wednesday, November 30, 12:39pm UAE time, and the Emirati engineers behind the mission a Florida are currently making final preps for the event.
