Forbes, the well respected business publication published the 2018 Forbes Travel Guide Star Award Winners’ list, and three Dubai hotels made the coveted list.
It’s the first time the famously in depth hotel review system reviewed hotels here in Dubai and having three hotels graded ‘five star’ is a huge achievement, (scroll down for the 5-star VS 4-star grades) although we reckon the hotels that didn’t make the cut will have a lot to say.
The who’s who of the world’s top five star hotels
It’s the 60th annual list and throughout the course of a year, undercover inspectors visit hotels across 50 countries and judge hotels based on 900 objective standards.
Service is weighted at 75% and facility quality gets 25%.
The article also made special reference to the Middle East, as a newcomer, for picking up four top rated hotels (one in Abu Dhabi, three in Dubai).
