UAE and India’s historical relationship has only gone from strength to strength over the years.<\/p>\n

And this latest development is definitely the high point of their long-standing friendship.<\/p>\n

President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has honured Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Zayed Medal on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The medal is the UAE’s highest civil honour awarded to kings, presidents and heads of states and has been conferred on PM Modi in appreciation for his efforts to boost relations between the Emirates and India.<\/p>\n

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, took to Twitter to share the news calling PM Modi as his “dear friend”<\/h3>\n

We have historical and comprehensive strategic ties with India, reinforced by the pivotal role of my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave these relations a big boost. In appreciation of his efforts, the UAE President grants him the Zayed Medal.<\/p>\n
