Repton Abu Dhabi smashed the Guinness World Records\u2122 Title.<\/p>\n

The school<\/a> received the “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Astronauts” title!<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 25 October 2022, 940 Reptonians, teachers and staff from Year 2 to Year 7 participated in the record-breaking event held at its Fry Campus. Plus, an Official Adjudicator from Guinness World Records\u2122 verified the record on-site.<\/p>\n

Additionally, students at Repton spent weeks designing and making their own helmets!<\/h2>\n

As, all spacesuits worn were required to meet strict criteria set out by Guinness World Records\u2122. As part of the astronaut uniforms, students wore their country flags on their arms. They also highlighted the diverse UAE community.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, we commemorate the UAE\u2019s landmark mission since it embarked on an incredible journey to the International Space Station over three years ago,” Steven Lupton, Principal of Repton Abu Dhabi said.<\/p>\n

“Our students have been closely following the UAE\u2019s milestone achievements in space with an instinctive curiosity. As well as, genuine love of learning about the wonders of the galaxy.”<\/p>\n

He added, “We are absolutely ecstatic to honour the occasion with this exciting achievement verified by Guinness World Records\u2122.”<\/p>\n

Finally, Principal Steven Lupton said, “I would like to thank all the students, teachers and staff who have made this record-breaking event possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
