Hurricane Idalia was a powerful Category 4 hurricane. It caused significant damage across parts of Florida. Moreover, the UAE Embassy in Washington evacuated 34 Emiratis from Florida on September 2.<\/p>\n
They sent 16 to Miami and 18 to Atlanta to ensure their safety away from Hurricane Idalia. Currently, it is a post-tropical cyclone. On Wednesday, August 30, Hurricane Idalia plowed into Florida’s Gulf Coast on\u00a0 with strong winds, torrential rains and pounding surf. However, it then weakened and flooded southeastern Georgia.<\/p>\n
The UAE Embassy in Washington evacuated 34 Emiratis. Moreover, the embassy released a statement urging UAE citizens to stay safe and avoid hurricane-affected areas.<\/p>\n
