Statistics Centre \u2013 Abu Dhabi (SCAD) recently released new data<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
It revealed that Abu Dhabi achieved a 7.5 percent growth in population in 2024.\u00a0The emirate’s population has increased by 51% over the past decade, rising from 2.7 million in 2014 to over 4.1 million in 2024.<\/div>\n

This sustained demographic expansion coincides with significant economic achievements, including GDP growth by 3.8 percent last year to an all-time high of AED1.2 trillion, driven by non-oil sectors, which grew by 6.2 percent to account for 54.7 percent of the total economic output.<\/div>\n

Abu Dhabi’s workforce increased by 9.1 percent in 2024, with growth across all skill levels. Professional roles increased by 6.4 percent, as the emirate gradually directs its focus into industries including AI, technology, financial services, and advanced manufacturing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
