Apocalyptic wildfires in Turkey, heatwaves in the Middle East, hail the size of tennis balls in Italy, snow in Brazil, deadly landslides in India, a rare tornado in the Czech Republic, floods in Germany and other parts of Europe, massive sandstorms in China, the 2nd largest river in South America, Paran\u00e1 River, suffering from a drought… the list goes on and on. Earth is suffering as a result of damaging human activity and our efforts to reverse the damage are falling short.<\/p>\n
Countless helpless animal and lower class people (who have no access to shelter) have lost their lives as a result of these natural disasters.<\/p>\n
Bear in mind that this is only the beginning. It’s only going to get worst. The temperatures have been soaring every year since the late 19th century and it’s no shocker that 2020 was recorded to be the hottest year to date (…2020 was jinxed in all ways possible) but we only have ourselves to blame for the calamities.<\/p>\n
Our species has always been selfish, there’s nothing new about that. But even after seeing the chaos around us, if we can’t change our ways then do we have the right to complain?<\/p>\n
