But not anymore. The regulations are getting updated almost every week and Abu Dhabi just updated their travel protocols.<\/p>\n<p>The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee updated their travel procedures for citizens and residents of Abu Dhabi who are returning from abroad.<\/p>\n<h2>The new travel protocols of Abu Dhabi will come into effect from Monday July 5, 2021<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style='clear:both;'><\/div>\n<p><!--infeed--><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has updated travel procedures for citizens and residents of Abu Dhabi returning from travel abroad, effective from Monday, 5 July 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GnFQU6GmIh\">pic.twitter.com\/GnFQU6GmIh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u0645\u0643\u062a\u0628 \u0623\u0628\u0648\u0638\u0628\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0639\u0644\u0627\u0645\u064a (@admediaoffice) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/admediaoffice\/status\/1411712741539291147?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 4, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>The travel protocols of Abu Dhabi indicate that vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers from green list destinations don&#8217;t need to quarantine<\/h2>\n<p>Starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/visitabudhabi.ae\/en\/plan-your-trip\/covid-safe-travel\/permitted-countries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">green list destinations<\/a>: those who are vaccinated will not need to quarantine but must take a PCR test upon arrival and on day 6. Non-vaccinated individuals who are arriving from green list countries are also exempt from quarantine but must take a PCR test upon arrival, on day 6 and on day 12.<\/p>\n<p>Those arriving from other destinations: vaccinated individuals must quarantine for 7 days, take a PCR test upon arrival and again on day 6. Those who have not been vaccinated and arriving from other destinations must quarantine for 12 days, take a PCR test upon arrival, and again on day 11.<\/p>\n<p>Those travel updates apply to citizens and residents of Abu Dhabi.
