With the weather getting cooler, people are flocking to the beach to enjoy the breeze and the sea. However, the people’s safety is the nation’s priority so Abu Dhabi issued a warning to beach-goers regarding sea snakes.<\/p>\n

The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi<\/a> urges beach-goers to stay vigilant and avoid sea snakes<\/h2>\n

Sea Snakes are a venomous species and they inhabit open and shallow waters, coral reefs and beaches. Although they are venomous they only bite when provoked or scared. Furthermore, beach-goers should avoid them and avoid touching one even if it appears dead.<\/p>\n

This species tend to gather during the winter months when the temperature drops below 22 \u00b0C. Additionally, that is the reason they tend to appear at beaches in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n
