Therefore, it is common knowledge to all who live and visit the nation that drugs illegal. The consumption, possession, distribution, and attempts to smuggle any drug is against the law in the UAE. Moreover, authorities announced that they arrested a smuggler for bringing in more than 48 tonnes of drugs into the country.<\/p>\n<h2>The smuggler brought in 48 tonnes and <span class=\"WdYUQQ text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">693kgs of narcotics and psychotropic substances<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>However, his plan was foiled when authorities intervened. Abu Dhabi Police and the Public Prosecution arrested him as he was attempting to arrange a warehouse. The storage unit was his chosen location to store and distribute the drugs.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, authorities foiled his plan and took him to court. The Public Prosecution saw these acts as a crime punishable by law.
