Arab Tourists Are the Driving Force Behind Jordan’s Tourist Boom

Jordan is having a major moment in the travel world, and it’s all thanks to Arab tourists! With record-breaking numbers and some serious spending, the country’s tourism scene is buzzing like never before.

Arab tourists powered the boom

In 2025, Jordan rolled out the welcome mat for a whopping 5.923 million international visitors. The real stars? Arab tourists, who made up a massive 55% of all arrivals. That’s right, more than half of everyone exploring Petra, Amman, and the Dead Sea this year came from neighboring Arab countries, making them the biggest and most influential group by far.

Big spending, big impact

Arab travelers didn’t just show up—they splashed out, spending a jaw-dropping 2.222 billion dinars in just the first ten months of the year. According to the Central Bank, tourism revenue shot up by 6.5%, giving Jordan’s economy a serious boost. From ancient wonders like Al-Khazneh in Petra to the lively streets of Amman, these visitors are making their presence felt everywhere.

With so many Arab tourists leading the charge, Jordan’s travel sector is on a roll. The numbers are up, the vibes are high, and the country’s most famous sights are buzzing with excitement. Here’s to even more adventures and unforgettable moments in the Hashemite Kingdom!
