Fadi’s story took a dramatic turn in his fourth year when he received a diagnosis that would shake anyone to their core. The Diagnosis came as a shock, especially since his family wasn’t even in Jordan at the time. He had to break the news to them from afar, all while trying to keep his own fears in check and not let them worry too much.

Balanced treatment and textbooks

Underwent chemotherapy at the King Hussein Cancer Center, Fadi didn’t let his studies slip away. He became a master of multitasking, holding lecture notes in one hand while receiving treatment through the other. Some people told him to drop the semester, but he was determined to keep going, even when others in similar situations couldn’t continue.

  1. Attended classes remotely and kept up with assignments
  2. Stayed connected with classmates for support
  3. Refused to let cancer define his limits

Learned lessons beyond medicine

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Fadi didn’t just walk away with a degree—he gained a new perspective on life. He discovered that being prepared for anything is just as important as any medical fact. His journey is a reminder that resilience, hope, and a dash of determination can help anyone overcome even the toughest challenges.
