Jordan Marked a Major Football Milestone Last Week

Jordan just threw the ultimate football bash, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Jordan Football Association—and trust us, the guest list was as star-studded as it gets! From royal appearances to football legends, Amman was buzzing with excitement and pride for this diamond jubilee.

Legends kicked off the journey

It all started with a chant and a dream—Jordan’s football story began with the late Kench Shukri, the very first president of the Jordan Football Association. His vision set the stage for decades of transformation, development, and the big goal: World Cup qualification. Fast forward to today, and the country is still chanting, still dreaming, and still aiming high!

Royals stole the spotlight

All eyes were on HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa as they graced the celebration. Princess Rajwa wowed the crowd in a custom blue gown by Eman Al Ahmed, while the Crown Prince brought his signature charm. The royal couple’s presence added a touch of glamour and a whole lot of love for Amman—because, as everyone said, ‘Amman, the love!’

FIFA joined the party

The football fever hit a new high when FIFA President Gianni Infantino landed in Amman on Tuesday, November 25. He was officially welcomed and didn’t hold back his excitement, calling the event a ‘great, great ceremony’ and giving a big shoutout to Prince Ali bin Hussein for his leadership. Infantino even hinted that we might see the Crown Prince on the pitch at the next World Cup—now that’s a goal worth cheering for!
