Jordanians Turned Doha Into One Big Pre-Match Party

Doha just got a major dose of Jordanian spirit! The city’s Souq Waqif was transformed into a lively celebration as fans from Jordan and Palestine brought their energy, flags, and non-stop chants to the streets. All this happened even before the Arab Cup kickoff, and the excitement was absolutely contagious.

Jordanians arrived and the party started

The Jordanian national team touched down in Doha yesterday, and it didn’t take long for the fans to make their presence known. As soon as the team arrived, supporters decked out in red, white, and green scarves gathered at the airport, waving flags and snapping selfies with the players. The upbeat Arabic music set the perfect mood for what was about to become a full-on street party.

Souq Waqif turned into a mini Amman

Forget quiet shopping trips—Souq Waqif was absolutely buzzing! Jordanians and Palestinians filled the streets, chanting, drumming, and waving their flags high. Traditional instruments like drums and bagpipes kept the crowd moving, while everyone joined in the famous chant: Hatha Al-Urduni la tal’ab wiyah. The whole souq felt like a slice of Amman right in the heart of Doha.

With videos of the celebration going viral, it’s clear that the Jordanian fans brought their A-game. Dancing, singing, and shouts of “Ayyuwa!” echoed through the night, proving that when it comes to football spirit, nobody does it quite like the Nashama. The Arab Cup hadn’t even started, but Doha was already painted in red, white, and pure Jordanian pride!
