His Majesty King Abdullah II held a phone call with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, on Tuesday following the Israeli strike that hit the Qatari capital, Doha.
During the call, the King conveyed Jordan’s firm stance, stressing that Qatar’s security is an integral part of Jordan’s own security. He described any infringement on the sovereignty of an Arab state as “absolutely unacceptable.”

The phone call came after an Israeli airstrike on a residential area in Doha that left several casualties, including a member of Qatar’s Internal Security Force. The attack sparked widespread regional condemnation, with Arab leaders emphasizing the importance of sovereignty and unity at a time of heightened regional tensions.
King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity with Qatar and expressed deep sympathy for the victims, while also highlighting the need for international action to prevent further escalations.
The conversation between the two leaders underscored Jordan’s consistent position in supporting its Arab neighbors and upholding the principles of regional stability and cooperation.
