Get ready for a week of mild autumn vibes and gentle skies in Amman and beyond! The Jordan Meteorological Department has promised us comfy days and cool evenings through Thursday, so you can leave the heavy jackets at home and enjoy the fresh air.
Monday, October 20, 2025, kicked off with temperatures sticking close to the usual autumn numbers. The highlands will feel mild, while other areas enjoyed moderate warmth. Low clouds will float lazily over the north and center, and northwesterly winds keep things breezy—especially if you are out in the desert!
Tuesday will bring a slight uptick in the mercury, but the weather is staying perfectly autumnal. High clouds will make a cameo, and the winds switched from a light southeasterly to a northwesterly breeze by the afternoon.
Wednesday and Thursday will get more of the same: soft sunshine, scattered light clouds, and calm northwesterly winds. The forecast promised no big surprises—just stable, mild weather to keep your week running smoothly.
Temperature check: On Monday, East Amman saw highs of 26°C and lows of 15°C, while West Amman clocked in at 24°C and 13°C. The northern highlands were a bit cooler at 22°C/12°C, and Sharah highlands dipped to 23°C/10°C. Desert areas ranged from 30°C to 14°C, and the plains matched East Amman. The northern Jordan Valley hit 33°C/18°C, the southern valley warmed up to 34°C/22°C, the Dead Sea reached 32°C/20°C, and Aqaba enjoyed 33°C/21°C. Autumn perfection!
