Amman Teams Handled 96 Weather Reports With Speedy Response
The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) had a busy Sunday on June 9, 2024, jumping into action as the city faced a lively weather system. With 96 reports rolling in, the teams were on their toes, making sure Amman stayed safe and sound.
Teams tackled water woes and toppled trees
GAM crews hustled to handle everything from water pooling on the streets to trees that just couldn’t stand up to the wind. Blocked drains? No problem. Fallen branches? Already cleared. The teams worked around the clock, showing off their quick moves and keeping the city running smoothly.

Residents were encouraged to keep the calls coming if they spotted any trouble, with the trusty 102 call center ready to help. GAM made sure everyone knew how to reach out, turning a stormy day into a team effort between the city and its people.

Despite the wild weather, there were no injuries or major incidents reported. Just another day in Amman, with the municipality showing it can handle whatever the skies throw its way!
