Just In: Jordan Is Now in the GCC

Jordan’s summer has officially entered beast mode, and everyone’s feeling it. The heat is so intense, you’d think Amman just joined the GCC—at least when it comes to the weather. Forget about cool breezes; it’s all about surviving the sizzle.

Jordan acted like a Gulf country

Temperatures soared, and suddenly, Jordan started channeling its inner Doha or Riyadh. Locals realized why visitors from the Gulf flock here—it’s not for the sights, but to escape their own heatwaves. When the mercury hit 40 degrees, even the bravest were left melting, wondering if the sun had a personal vendetta.

Showers and AC Failed to Save the Day

People tried everything to cool down.

  1. Taking five showers a day
  2. Cranking the AC to the max
  3. Dreaming of snow

But nothing worked. Even after 750 showers and 360 baths (give or take), the heat refused to budge. Air conditioners worked overtime, but it still felt like a sauna with a grudge.

Complaints Became the Only Escape

With no relief in sight, people turned to the one thing that never fails: complaining. Jokes and rants about the weather became the new national pastime. Maybe, just maybe, venting about the heat is the only way to survive a Jordanian summer that’s gone full GCC mode.
