Aqaba Divers Pull Off a Sea Rescue and Save a Marriage at the Same Time!

A trip to Aqaba turned into an epic underwater adventure when a gold necklace worth a whopping 8,000 JOD decided to take a dive of its own! Thanks to some quick thinking and a whole lot of teamwork, this story has a sparkling happy ending that’s pure Jordanian magic.

It all started with a splash

It began when a Jordanian man took to social media for help after his wife’s precious necklace slipped into the Red Sea during their trip to Aqaba. The necklace, valued at around 8,000 JOD, vanished beneath the waves, leaving the couple in a bit of a panic. But in true community spirit, the call for help didn’t go unanswered for long.

Diving in for the rescue

That’s when a team of ten volunteer divers suited up and launched a full-on underwater search mission. These heroes scanned the sea floor inch by inch, determined to find the lost treasure. For nearly five hours, they explored the vibrant coral reefs and sandy seabed, not letting anything slip past their eagle eyes (or should we say, fish eyes?).

A golden reunion

After almost five hours of non-stop diving, the impossible happened: the team found the necklace and returned it safely to its owners. Cue the applause and happy tears!
