The 105th Open Number Plates Auction held by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at InterContinental Dubai Festival City Hotel on Saturday racked up an insane figure of AED31.55 million

Plate (R 13) topped the charts after being sold for a whopping AED3.8 million! Following in second, plate (W 69), sold for AED2.42 million and (AA 18) was sold for AED1.9 million and (O 55555), fetched AED1.85 million.

RTA gave away 90 fancy plates for bidding in this auction, consisting of two, three, four and five-digit plates of categories (AA-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-T-U-V-W-X-Z).

Overall, RTA raised an unbelievable figure of AED31.55 million at the end of the auction
