HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein Joins the Royal Special Forces for Iftar

‏Enjoyed a special Ramadan iftar with colleagues today at the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Group Command

Who knew Crown Prince Al-Hussein had a competitive streak? The Regent joined the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Group Command for iftar on Monday, and let’s just say—he didn’t just sit back and watch!

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and the group’s commander, according to a Royal Court statement.

After breaking his fast, the Crown Prince joined the attendees for the Maghreb prayer before immersing himself in the evening’s activities.

From martial arts demonstrations to poetry recitations, the night was filled with energy, but the highlight? A tug-of-war battle between Special Forces units—where HRH proved he’s got some serious strength!

Currently serving as assistant commander of Special Battalion 101, a unit of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Group, the Crown Prince’s presence was more than ceremonial—he’s fully involved.

This latest appearance not only showcased his leadership but also his dedication to the country’s elite forces.
