In response to the escalating violence in Lebanon due to ongoing Israeli attacks, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a renewed warning to Jordanian citizens, advising against traveling to Lebanon at this time. The ministry also urged Jordanians currently in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible for their own safety.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, emphasized that the advisory is intended to safeguard Jordanian citizens, especially given the severity of the current situation. The Israeli attacks pose significant risks not only to Lebanon but to the entire region’s security, he added.
Ambassador Al-Qudah called on Jordanians in Lebanon to exercise extreme caution, follow safety directives from local Lebanese authorities, and register immediately with the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut through a designated online portal. He reiterated that the safety of Jordanian nationals remains the government’s top priority amid this period of uncertainty.
