Meeting with representatives from Madaba Governorate  with Queen Rania, the King emphasized Madaba’s significance as a beacon of coexistence and generosity, (Madaba has Jordans largest share of Christians in the country, and we are proud to say that there’s been a lot of fighting about football clubs, but never religion) epitomizing Jordan’s rich diversity.

“I am honored to stand among the esteemed people of Madaba on Mount Nebo, a testament to our nation’s history and civilization”

Madaba Governor Naif Al-Hdaiat reflected on Jordan’s journey of progress under the kings reign, saying how there has been a positive impact on citizens’ lives in his lifetime, and extended congratulations on the silver jubilee.

Upon arrival at Mount Nebo, His Majesty was shown a folklore performance by the Madaba Forum Association and was greeted with a welcoming poem by poet Ali Al-Maayaah Al-Azaydeh.
