King Abdullah announced in a tweet, ‘We pray to God Almighty on the blessed Laylat al-Qadr to accept our fasting, and to protect beloved Jordan, our brothers in Palestine, and other Arab and Islamic countries.’

Laylat al-Qadr, known as the Night of Destiny or Power, is one of the holiest nights in Islam, believed to be when the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It falls in the last 10 nights of Ramadan and is a time of intense worship and reflection for Muslims seeking divine blessings and forgiveness.
