King Abdullah’s International Tour for Gaza

The king wrapped up his tour of North America and Europe yesterday and arrived back in Amman.

His mission? To garner support for a flow of aid into the area as Israeli bombardment continues in the short term, for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza in the midterm, and a political future for a Palestinian state in the long term.

He met with heads of state including U.S. President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

He then traveled to Europe, where he met with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and later with the German Chancellor and members of parliament, as well as U.S. congressmen on the sidelines of the European Economic Summit.

The king’s cabinet released a video showcasing the accomplishments.
