The Jordanian Ministry of Education Thursday announced that they are going to be extending the grace period for completing procedures for scholarships and loans in Jordanian Uni’s for the academic years of 2023 & 2024.

With the change to scholarships back in 2019, Students need to nominated by Pre-University professors for these scholarships, and loans being used as the main avenue in which low-income families can benefit higher education, this grace period comes at really the right time.
Among other things, Jordanians have been feeling the double whammy of lower tourism income this year due to the Gaza conflict, and emotional toil from said conflict.
The ministry indicated in a statement that the extension period ends on Thursday, May 30, 2024. So students can and should find the required procedures on the Directorate of Scholarships website at: www.dsamohe.gov.jo.
