The Ajloun Teleferique is Open (Again)

Ajloun Teleferique, the country’s first cable car project and has some of the most stunning panoramic views of the mountainous forest all the way from Wadi Eshta to Eshtafina forest and concluding at the historic Ajloun Castle, perched 1,250 meters above sea level. Yes, it’s a long way up, but it’s so worth it you have to give it a chance even if your scared of heights!

Northern Jordan’s Newest Attraction

Since its opening in mid-June, the cable car has witnessed an overwhelming response from tourists, attracting over 20,000 riders in its first 10 days. During the Eid Al-Adha holiday, daily ridership soared to between 2,500 and 3,000 people, underscoring its popularity among both locals and visitors.

The 2.5-kilometer-long Ajloun Cable Car project will start welcoming visitors at its full capacity Friday- with some revamped color scheme!

JFDZG’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalaf Al-Hmaisat said tickets will be sold for JD4 for Jordanians and JD8 for non-Jordanians. Additionally, children under three years of age ride for free.
