Universities across Jordan shift to emergency measures as winter storm disrupts schedules
Universities across Jordan activated emergency protocols on Tuesday as a powerful winter storm swept across the Kingdom, bringing polar air, heavy rain, strong winds, and a sharp drop in temperatures.
Leading the announcements, the University of Jordan confirmed that all classes scheduled for Tuesday would be moved to remote learning. The university also announced that all exams planned for that day have been postponed and rescheduled to January 27.
Middle East University (MEU) as well made a swift decision to prioritize everyone’s safety this week! Thethe campus shifted gears to remote learning, and all scheduled exams were put on hold, all thanks to some rather intense weather conditions. It was a smart move to keep students and staff cozy and safe indoors.
