Dababneh, who is part of the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Gaza sustained injuries during the attack

The attackalso claimed the life of another UN staff member with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been actively coordinating with the UNDSS to ensure her safe transfer.

Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudahconfirmed that Dababneh’s is being transported to Jordan for further treatment at Al-Hussein Medical City

This follows the Ministry’s earlier condemnation of the attack on the UN vehicle, with the Ministry stating that they  “held Israel accountable for the safety of UN personnel and underscored the importance of adhering to international humanitarian law.”
