She Married a Man… and Got Batman Instead: Jordan’s Latest Viral Divorce Story
A bizarre story from Jordan has taken over social media this week: a young woman reportedly filed for divorce less than a month into her marriage after discovering her husband had a full-blown obsession with the fictional superhero Batman — and not the cute, collectible-figure type of obsession… we’re talking full character transformation.
According to what’s been shared online, the husband kept an entire Batman suit at home, wore it regularly, and spent hours roaming around the house acting like Gotham’s vigilante. The wife claims she wasn’t allowed to watch anything on TV unless it was Batman-related. Even worse, she says he would head out late at night wearing parts of the costume, insisting he had a “secret mission” to complete after seeing what he claimed was the “Bat-Signal” in the sky.
Things escalated when she reportedly woke up to find him standing in the living room in the full suit, speaking in character and refusing to break out of it. That moment, she says, is when fear kicked in and she left for her parents’ home. Shortly after, she filed for divorce.
The story spread like wildfire online, with thousands of comments joking about Gotham coming to Amman and people asking whether he at least had a Batmobile. Others sympathized with the wife, calling it one of the strangest marriage situations they’ve heard this year.
