Following a spectacular 3-0 victory against Oman, the streets of Amman exploded with joy late Thursday and well into Friday.

Car horns echoed across the capital, chants of “We are all with you!” filled the air, and fans proudly waved the Jordanian flag. And to top it all off? A stunning drone light show lit up the sky with patriotic messages like “It’s getting closer, heroes.”

The win came during the penultimate round of the 2026 Asian qualifiers, locking Jordan’s spot in the tournament, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Hero of the match, Ali Olwan, delivered a jaw-dropping performance with a hat-trick, pushing Jordan past the finish line. The final piece of the puzzle fell into place when South Korea defeated Iraq 2-0, securing Jordan’s World Cup dream.

Even His Majesty King Abdullah II joined in the celebration
