Tragedy Strikes: Siblings Lost in Amman House Fire

In a heartbreaking incident, four siblings tragically lost their lives, and two others were injured in a fire that erupted in a house in Southern Amman. The authorities reported that the fire occurred on Saturday in a ground floor house connected to a mosque in the Abu Alanda area.

Response Teams Arrived

Fire and rescue teams from the East Amman Civil Defense Department quickly responded to the scene after the fire broke out. The fire erupted in a ground-floor apartment that was linked to the mosque, prompting a rapid emergency response.

Victims’ Condition Detailed

Tragically, the siblings, aged between five and 10, succumbed to severe burns sustained in the fire. Additionally, two other young children from the same family, aged two and three, suffered from respiratory distress due to smoke inhalation.

Efforts to Control Blaze

Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further. Paramedics on the scene provided immediate first aid to the injured children before they were rushed to Al-Tutanji and Al-Bashir public hospitals for treatment; the injuries are currently being managed by medical staff.
