The approved plans for Abu Dhabi private schools have been announced by The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for COVID-19<\/a> pandemic, in coordination with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Education and Knowledge, ADEK.<\/span><\/p>\n Parents\/students can opt for online learning for the entire first term, as long as you okay it with the school first.<\/span><\/p>\n There will be strict safety measures in place, which will be continuously assessed, and ALL teaching staff and students above the age of 12 must get COVID-19 tests bfore returning. Classes will be limited to 15 students, and a physical distance of 1.5m must be maintained on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n KG1 to Year 6 will return on the first day, all other grades will return 4 weeks later. This allows schools to monitor and plan accordingly. ADEK will visit all private schools to evaluate guidelines, and will continue field visits after reopening.<\/span><\/p>\n The models are: Full in-class (face-to-face) learning: with students going to school every day; Partial in-class (face-to-face) learning: students to go to school every day but for half a day; and Alternating days: two days a week for in-class (face-to-face) learning.<\/p>\n Also, alternating weeks: two weeks for in-class (face-to-face) learning, and two weeks for online learning each month; as well as Hybrid model: in-class (face-to-face) learning for two days, and three days for online learning for the first week, and three days for in-class (face-to-face) learning and two days for online learning for the following week.<\/p>\n The is via government news agency Wam.ae.
