Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi received phone calls on Sunday night from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, as well as holding discussions with Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom. The conversations primarily focused on the urgent need for de-escalation in the region, particularly in light of the recent escalation in Gaza.<\/p>\n
