But with this <strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"537\">brand-new, state-of-the-art facility<\/strong>, they can now get top-tier care <strong data-start=\"570\" data-end=\"617\">closer to home, family, and support systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"935\">This <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"648\">four-floor center<\/strong>, built at a cost of <strong data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"685\">JD15 million<\/strong>, includes:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"935\"><br data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"699\" \/><strong data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"741\">-Chemotherapy &amp; radiology departments<\/strong><br data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"744\" \/><strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"773\">-An early detection unit<\/strong> (because early diagnosis saves lives!)<br data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"815\" \/><strong data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"867\">-Oncology clinics, a laboratory, and a pharmacy<\/strong><br data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"870\" \/><strong data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"903\">-100 medical &amp; support staff<\/strong>\u2014all from the local community!<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"970\"><strong data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"968\">A Vision Turned Reality<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1360\">During the opening ceremony, <strong data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1024\">Princess Ghida Talal<\/strong>, Chairperson of the <strong data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1090\">King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Centre<\/strong>, emphasized that this new branch is part of <strong data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1159\">His Majesty\u2019s vision<\/strong> to expand <strong data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1199\">cancer care across Jordan<\/strong>. She also highlighted that KHCC continues to <strong data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1280\">treat cancer patients from Gaza<\/strong>, ensuring they receive proper medical care until they can return home safely.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1583\">Aqaba Governor <strong data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1394\">Khaled Hajjaj<\/strong>, who is also a <strong data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1429\">cancer survivor<\/strong> treated at KHCC, shared how this new center will <strong data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1527\">save patients time, effort, and travel costs<\/strong>, while also boosting <strong data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1580\">medical tourism in the area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1863\">At the event, <strong data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1695\">King Abdullah II honored donors and institutions<\/strong> that contributed to this incredible project. The inauguration was attended by <strong data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1806\">HRH Prince Hussein bin Talal<\/strong>, top government officials, and key healthcare figures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2176\">This isn\u2019t just a hospital\u2014it\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1954\">a beacon of hope<\/strong> for thousands of cancer patients.
