Japanese Ambassador Bids Farewell with “Mawtini”

As his tenure in Iraq comes to an end, Japanese Ambassador Futoshi Matsumoto shared a heartfelt farewell by releasing a video of himself singing “Mawtini”, Iraq’s national anthem and the former anthem of Palestine. In the video, he wears a keffiyeh, a traditional Arab headscarf, symbolizing his appreciation for Iraqi culture.
