Bahrain Is Investigating All Foreigners Who Have Obtained The Bahraini Nationality Since 2010
In light of recent investigations and reviews conducted by the Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs (NPRA), a significant step is being taken to ensure the authenticity of Bahraini citizenship.
Investigations will oversee unlawfully obtaining passports through incorrect information and forged documents
In light of these findings, His Excellency the Minister of Interior has announced the formation of a specialized committee. This committee will undertake a comprehensive review of all cases of Bahraini nationality acquisition dating back to 2010. The primary objective of this review is to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the data and documents that supported the citizenship applications.
The ministry plans to identify any irregularities or violations in the passport acquisition process
