Civil Defence rescued seven individuals and extinguished a fire in their home in Samaheej. The National Ambulance transferred one of them to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Despite the heroic rescue, the day was marked by tragedy. A 23-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation. Sadly, he did not survive, leaving his family and the community mourning his loss. The incident served as a stark reminder of the dangers that fires pose, even when help arrives quickly.
