Big news for Muharraq! The beloved Falcon Monument and waterfall, both go-to spots for iconic photos, are set to be taken down by Bahrain’s Works Ministry.

Why? To make way for a brand-new bridge that aims to tackle traffic bottlenecks and improve access to Bahrain International Airport

Sure, it’s sad to see such an iconic piece of Muharraq’s skyline go, but this change is all about progress. The new bridge is expected to ease congestion in the area, making those airport runs and daily commutes a lot less stressful. And let’s face it, nobody loves sitting in traffic, right? This is just one of the many steps Bahrain is taking to upgrade its road network and navigation.

From smoother traffic flow to quicker routes, the focus is on making everyday travel easier and more efficient.
