This artsy mosque is also known around the Kingdom for its gorgeous architecture and tall arches. The mosque itself can accommodate up to 800 worshippers at once! The massive dome lets in the most gorgeous light during the afternoon, so make sure to catch your midday and afternoon prayers here!
Al Fateh Grand Mosque is definitely Bahrain’s most famous tourist spot considering its grand architecture. The area not only includes the mosque, but also a department for Qur’anic studies and its own Islamic library. People come here for all five prayers, but it can get especially crowded during the last ten days of Ramadan, where Muslims worship all through the night. It definitely wins first place when it comes to size, because this iconic spot can accommodate around 7 THOUSAND worshippers at once! Basically Al Fateh Mosque should definitely be on the top of your list!
