Meet Ali Marhoon, a Bahraini wanderer who’s making waves all over the internet by walking from Mexico all the way to Canada. Yep, you read that right. He’s trekking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), one of the most challenging and scenic routes in North America!

2,650 miles… ALL on foot!

Ali is walking the 4,265 kilometers (about 2,650 miles) of the Pacific Crest Trail, a trail that stretches from the sunny deserts of Mexico all the way up to the chilly forests of Canada. It’s not your average hike, but this journey is set to take a minimum of 4 months, with all the types of challenges you can expect. Think extreme weather, rugged mountains, and vast deserts.

You might be wondering: Why? Why would anyone put themselves through such an insane challenge? Well, Ali is all about pushing limits and finding personal growth in the process. He’s walking for more than just the thrill! He’s doing this to prove to himself (and to the world) that nothing is impossible when you set your mind to it.

His journey started on May 1, 2025, and it’s already become a hike to remember!

He’s battled bitter winds and the isolation of the wilderness, but he’s also had some seriously magical moments. From jaw-dropping sunsets to the wild beauty of the terrain, he’s capturing it all on his socials.
