In a heartwarming ceremony filled with pride and reverence, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah honoured the exceptional winners of the sixth Interior Ministry Quran Competition just last night.
The event marked a significant milestone in celebrating the spirit of dedication and devotion to the Holy Quran, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan.
During the final ceremony, the Interior Minister bestowed accolades upon the top winners across various categories. Notably, recognition was extended to the children of fallen and injured servicemen, members of the organising and evaluating committee, and the directorate with the highest number of winners.

In General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah’s address at the ceremony, the minister emphasised that participants’ dedication reflects the Quran’s profound significance in promoting harmony, unity, and community cohesion in Bahrain, making sure that the efforts to continue promoting Islam, the Quran, and supporting Quran memorization centers remain steady and strong.
This comes shortly after Mohammed Adnan, a Bahraini national, secured the top spot in the latest Dubai International Holy Quran competition.
