HH Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Receives Incredible Hand-Tufted Rugs
HH Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa recently met with The Lynx Team, a group of talented artists who presented him with extraordinary hand-tufted rugs. These unique artworks, including a striking portrait of His Highness, showcased the team’s remarkable skill and dedication, highlighting Bahrain’s vibrant creative spirit.
The artistic process unveiled
The artisan was seen meticulously crafting a large hand-tufted rug portrait, bringing it to life with a tufting gun. This electric tool expertly inserted yarn into fabric, shaping the intricate facial features of the portrait, which depicted a man wearing a traditional Arab head covering and a beard. Rendered in various shades of brown, beige, black, and grey with a crisp white border, the artwork was clearly a labor of love, created within what appeared to be a bustling creative studio.
The man in the portrait was His Highness Shaikh Nasser!
The finished rug portrait was proudly presented to HH Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa – He interacted positively with the team member holding the artwork, visibly admiring the stunning craftsmanship.
Words of encouragement and dedication
The team presented His Highness with multiple one-of-a-kind hand-tufted rugs, each a heartfelt symbol of their appreciation. Among these were a large circular red rug featuring a golden flame-like logo and the word ‘VICTORIOUS,’ and another impressive blue and white circular rug.
The artists were visibly proud as Sheikh Nasser received the rugs, concluding the memorable visit with smiles and a shared sense of accomplishment.
