The Royal Bahrain Concours this year had everyone talking, and it wasn’t just about the glitzy cars. The real showstopper? A jaw-dropping red Aston Martin DB4 Series IV Vantage from 1961, turning heads and stealing hearts on the lush green lawns.
Parked under the Bahraini sun, this classic beauty wasn’t just any car…it was the legendary ride of the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. With its shiny chrome bumpers, white-walled tires, and the unmistakable ‘KHALIFA’ badge above the license plate (number 1111), this car was pure vintage royalty. The crowd couldn’t get enough of its smooth coupé lines, iconic Aston Martin grille, and that oh-so-classy steering wheel inside.

The event wasn’t just about horsepower, it was about heritage. The car’s appearance was a heartfelt tribute to a beloved leader, with the year 1971 (Bahrain’s independence) proudly displayed on another license plate. The atmosphere was buzzing, with luxury cars, classic gems, and a mix of traditional and modern vibes all around. Event tents from big names like INFINITI BAHRAIN and DHL added to the excitement, while visitors admired the cars and snapped photos.
From the chrome details to the soulful Arabic music playing in the background, every moment at the Royal Bahrain Concours was a celebration of Bahrain’s rich history and the enduring legacy of Prince Khalifa. Now that’s what we call a showstopper!
