32 Mosques Designated In Bahrain For Friday Prayers In Ramadan

The Sunni Endowments Directorate has just made a big announcement for Ramadan..

32 mosques across Bahrain have been temporarily designated as Jamea mosques, meaning they will host Friday prayers starting from the first Friday of the holy month!

This move is part of the Directorate’s efforts to make worship more accessible and convenient for everyone during this special time. Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, highlighted the council’s dedication to meeting the needs of worshippers throughout Ramadan. He also took a moment to express gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unwavering support of religious initiatives and community service.

Muharraq Governorate:

  • Haya bint Mohammed Al Bouflasa Mosque, Hidd
  • Aysha Al Rasheed Mosque, Diyar Al Muharraq
  • Umhat Al Momineen Mosque, Arad
  • Osama bin Zaid Mosque, Arad
  • Ali bin Yousif Fakhro Mosque, Halat Bu Maher
  • Al Bin Khater Mosque
  • Ali bin Ebrahim Al Zayani Mosque
  • Omar bin Abdulaziz Mosque
  • Southern Busaiteen Mosque
