The Ministry of Works, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, has announced a temporary road closure in Bahrain. Due to construction works on the Muharraq Ring Road, Avenue 105 will be closed to traffic, affecting access to Alsayah Area from the Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Causeway.
During this time, both access and exit routes leading to Alsayah Area from the Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Causeway will be blocked. Drivers heading in this direction will need to plan alternate routes.
There’s been quite a lot of changes happening in the capital!

The Ministry of Works has confirmed that traffic will be diverted to surrounding roads during the closure. This means drivers will need to be prepared for slight detours while construction is underway.
For those who regularly use Avenue 105 to travel to Alsayah Area, it’s advisable to take note of the alternative routes available during the closure.
The development of this road network is expected to improve connectivity between areas in Muharraq and the rest of Bahrain in the long term. While the temporary closure may be inconvenient, it’s part of efforts to modernize Bahrain’s roadways and improve overall traffic flow!
