Why this is important

National Tree Week encourages active participation from everyone. Citizens, residents, government agencies, private organizations, and members of Team Bahrain are getting ready to join forces in in a week-long effort to contribute to a healthier environment and expand green spaces across the country.

Afforestation and greening initiatives like National Tree Week are essential for addressing pressing environmental challenges. By expanding Bahrain’s green cover, these efforts support biodiversity, improve air quality, and contribute to global goals of reducing carbon emissions.

🌳 National Tree Week runs from October 28 to November 4, offering a range of activities that individuals and groups can participate in – stay tuned across Lovin Bahrain’s page for all the updates!
