The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its heartfelt solidarity with the United States in the wake of the devastating wildfires in California, which have caused numerous casualties, injuries, and widespread destruction.

The Ministry extended its deepest condolences with to the U.S. government and its people, offering support to the victims of the tragedy and wishing a swift recovery for the injured.

As of January 9, 2025, at least 10 fatalities have been reported, and nearly 10,000 structures have been destroyed. The fires began on January 7, 2025, and have since consumed over 34,000 acres, making them some of the most destructive in California’s history. In response to the crisis, over 180,000 residents have been evacuated, and firefighting efforts are ongoing to contain the fires and prevent further damage.
